A 2-year postdoctoral position is available in video processing and
analysis in A. Prof. Chua Tat Seng's research group in Department of
Information Systems and Computer Science, National University of Singapore.
The group's research focuses on multimedia modeling, including static
and video images.
The postdoc will be working on the on-going project of video processing
and analysis, focusing specifically on video classification based on
content and motion. He/she will develop and implement algorithms
for motion analysis, motion segmentation, trajectory analysis,
video classification based on colour, texture, motion, etc.
The position requires very good programming skills, with proficiency
in C and, preferrably also C++. It also requires strong image processing
background, with experience in video processing. Experience in
computer vision would be an additional advantage.
The position is available immediately and is funded for 2 years.
Salary is competitive.
