CALL FOR PAPERS:

Authors are invited to submit full papers reporting results, strongly
substantiated by mathematical analysis, experiment, implementation,
or simulation, in all areas of computer communications and
networks; however, more qualitative exploration of important
architectural issues is also encouraged. A more detailed list of
specific areas of interest can be obtained from the INFOCOM'98 WWW site.

SCHEDULE AND IMPORTANT DATES:

Full Paper Due - July 15, 1997
Notification of Acceptance - October 31, 1997
Camera Ready Version of Accepted Paper Due - January 5, 1998
Conference - March 31-April 2, 1998
Tutorials - March 29-30, 1998

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

The first page of your paper should contain paper title, author
name(s), complete address (telephone, fax, email) for all authors,
indication of who is the corresponding author, abstract, followed by
key words and optionally one or more areas of interest from the list
on the WWW site. The paper should be limited to 20 pages excluding
illustrations and 30 pages overall.

We strongly encourage electronic submission of manuscripts in
Postscript format. Please consult the INFOCOM '98
WWW site for electronic submission instructions. Hard copy
submissions will still be handled on an exception basis, but require
explicit permission from the Infocom'98 Technical Program Chair who
can be reached at:

STUDENT GRANTS:

You may qualify for a Student Travel Grant to defray some of your
costs for presenting a paper at this conference. IEEE Communications
Society will award a limited number of Student Travel Grants to
full-time students who represent their accepted papers at INFOCOM '98.
