The newly formed National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) has announced a
new funding opportunity under its University Research Initiative (URI).
The URI is intended to "enhance universities' capabilities to perform
research and related education in science and engineering areas critical to
national defense and NIMA missions."
