Changes since 1.13

I should be shot for this dumb mistake, but in the later versions of the LWGate I inadvertently introduced a security hole into the program. Basically, this results from the line which sets the mailer to "sendmail -t -f$CGI{'email'}". The problem is using the variable $CGI{'email'} unchecked, something I added later to accomodate ListProc's default behavior. If you are only using LISTSERV or another mailing list package which relies upon the "From: " mail header field (I think Majordomo and SmartList behave like LISTSERV in this regard), the solution is to edit your script and remove "-f$CGI{'email'}" construct. Otherwise, download version 1.14 and install it: The fix is just a two-liner, so you could look at the new source and duplicate it with your existing script.

Mea culpa folks. I should have seen this one.

Changes since 1.12

All change history since 1.12 was lost when one of the NetSpace hard disks crashed.
