Post-Doc Positions in Information Systems Environments

The Information Systems group (Informatik V, Prof. Matthias Jarke) at
the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen), Germany, invites
applications for several positions for scientific/research assistants
in the area of Information Systems.
You will be working in a creative and internationally active group,
participating in national and European projects with focus on
- support of cooperative requirements analysis with multimedia
scenarios
- process-integrated environments for support of engineering
development processes
- development strategies for Internet information systems, e.g.
in electronic commerce or Intranets.
Parts of the work will be dedicated to project administration and
teaching.
The positions are full-time and offer the opportunity to gain additional
experiences as a post-doc; under certain circumstances, they can also be
filled with exceptional doctoral students with a very
good master degree in computer science or a closely related field.
Applicants should further have good knowledge in at least
one of the following areas: Databases, Requirements Engineering,
Software Engineering, Groupware/Organizational Computing,
Multimedia/E-commerce.
The compensation is determined by rules of the
`Bundesangestelltentarif' (BAT). Depending on education, age,
marital status and other factors, it typically ranges from 65 to
75K Deutsche Mark (39 to 44K US$).
RWTH Aachen wants to increase the ratio of women in its
