Dear colleagues,

this is a reminder that the deadline for submitting contributions
to the Computer Graphics International conference will be coming
up soon on November 14, 1997

The 1998 Computer Graphics International conference will be held in
Hannover, Germany, on 22nd June - 26th June.

A special focus of this conference will be the mutual interaction of
computer graphics and communications, GIS and satellite data assimi-
lation, analysis and visualization, as well as visual, spatial and
temporal digital libraries. In addition, short reports on work in
progress are invited for a poster session.

The selected papers, including those for poster sessions, will be
published in a proceedings book from the IEEE Computer Society Press.
Extended versions of the best papers (including those for poster
sessions) will be invited for further review and publication in
"The Visual Computer" journal and the "Journal of Visualization and
