Integrity & constraints in taxonomic databases --
Three research positions in biodiversity informatics
====================================================

International biodiversity initiatives are creating global species
information systems by linking heterogeneous biological databases which may
be based on differing taxonomic treatments. This collaborative project will
develop tools to assist in overcoming the difficult conflicts which can arise.

The research project is funded by the BBSRC/EPSRC Bioinformatics Initiative
and Reading Research Trust. The three posts available are at University of
Wales Cardiff, University of Southampton and University of Reading.

Salary: UKP 16,927 - 18,494 per annum
