service (QoS) research in distributed systems. The objective of the
Sixth International Workshop on Quality of Service is to bring
together researchers, developers, and practitioners working in all
facets of QoS research addressing multimedia applications and
services, programmability, operating systems, networking, multimedia
devices and middleware.

Contributions are solicited in all areas of QoS research in distributed
systems and networking, including, but not limited to:

- Media Scaling and QoS Filtering Techniques
- QoS-based APIs for Applications, Transport and Management
- QoS Support for Information Appliances
- Video Coding/Compression Techniques and QoS
- QoS-based Network Management and Control
- End-to-End QoS Mechanisms and Architectures
- QoS Support for Mobility and Wireless Networks
