ACCESS TO THE MEETING CITY, NARA

The easiest way to NARA is to take a direct flight to Kansai
Airport(KIX), where the following transportations are available to
downtown Nara. Another international airport Narita/Tokyo is far from
Nara and the way of coming to Nara is complicated with all of your
heavy baggage, we do not recommend to use this airport for your
information.

AFTER ARRIVING AT KANSAI AIRPORT:

1. Airport limousine buses for NARA are available (90 minutes ride)
depart from bus stop No.9. The buses for Nara depart almost every one
hour between the hours of 07:40 to 20:40 (No operation on 09:40,
11:40). They first arrive at Ichinomoto, Nara Hotel, Kintetsu Nara
Station, then to JR Nara Station. The bus fare is JPY1,800.

2. There is another way to Nara which is to take airport limousine
buses for "Kintetsu Uehonmachi" depart from bus stop No.7. Services
are available every 30 minutes from 6:20 to 22:00. The journey takes
about 60 minutes. From Uehommachi, take a Kintetsu express or rapid
train for Nara (30-35 minutes ride) available quite frequently from
the hours of 06:44 to 23:43 on weekdays, 07:12 to 23:43 on weekends.
