CALL FOR PAPERS

CAiSE*98
THE 10TH CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED INFORMATION SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

PISA, ITALY
JUNE 8-12, 1998

http://www.pianosa.cnuce.cnr.it/caise98

***********************************************************************

CONFERENCE AIMS & OBJECTIVES

CAiSE*98 is the 10th in the series of CAiSE Conferences which provide a
forum for presentation and exchange of research results and practical
experiences within the field of Information Systems Engineering. A special
theme of the CAiSE*98 Conference is "Information Systems Engineering in
Public Administrations". Information systems in the public administration
domain present particular features in terms of users, goals and
requirements, that characterise them with respect to other business
information systems. In addition, an important issue concerns harmonization
of Public Administration procedures and data, and Public Administrations
in a multinational community, for instance for exchanging
data of common interest.

CAiSE*98 aims at bringing together researchers, users, and practitioners in
the field. CAiSE*98 also features a specific industrial and user-oriented
programme containing tutorials, as well as technical presentations of
innovative products.
The scientific programme consists of paper presentations,
workshops, tutorials, and interactive panel sessions.
The conference organisers invite submission of papers, as well as workshop,
panel, and tutorial proposals to CAiSE*98, which will be held in Pisa,
Italy on June 8-12, 1998.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

A special theme of CAiSE*98 is:
"Information Systems in Public Administrations".
An indicative, but not restrictive, list of such information systems (PA-IS)
