ParCo97 - Parallel Computing '97
Bonn, Germany --- 16 - 19 September 1997

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We wish to draw your attention to the international conference
ParCo97, perhaps the most important conference on Parallel Computing
offered this year. This conference is the longest running conference on
parallel computing in Europe.

A particularly important aspect of this year's event is the emphasis
on the applications of parallel computers. A number of industrial
companies are supporting the event through their participation in
the industrial exhibition as well as an industrial session where new
developments will be presented.

Please check the ParCo97 homepage:

http://www.gmd.de/SCAI/parco97.

for details about the "Preliminary Program" and registration.

The proceedings of the conference will include refereed and accepted
papers and posters. Reviewing of papers and posters will take place at
the conference. These will be published in the bookseries "Advances in
Parallel Computing" by Elsevier Science Publishers. In addition two
Special Issues of "Parallel Computing Journal" will be published,
covering fundamental and application aspects respectively.
