SAC '98

Over the past twelve years, the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing has
become a primary forum for applied computer scientists and application
developers from around the world to interact and present their work.
SAC '98 is sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Groups SIGAda, SIGAPP,
SIGBIO, and SIGCUE.

DATABASE TECHNOLOGY TRACK
==========================
A special track on Database Technology will be held in SAC '98. It
will be a forum for engineers, researchers and practitioners to share
technical ideas and experiences relating to implementation and application
of database technologies. Topics of interest include, but are not
limited to:

Advanced applications Distributed databases
Object-oriented databases Multimedia databases
Active databases Mobile databases
WWW-based databases Textual databases
Information discovery Cooperative databases
Data Mining Data Warehouse
OLAP Workflow Management
Temporal Databases Digital Library
Tertiary Storage System Disk Arrays

Author(s) must submit five (5) laser-quality printed copies of full
paper by August 15, 1997 to:

The author(s) name(s) and address(es) must NOT appear in the body of
the paper. Any self-reference should be in the third person. Each paper
must not exceed 4,000 words (approximately 15 pages, double-spaced).
Each copy must have an abstract, a list of key-words and a separate cover
page. This cover page must include the title of the paper, full name(s) of
the author(s), address(es) (including telephone and fax number(s), and
e-mail address(es)) to which correspondence should be sent.

At least one of the authors of the accepted papers must register for the
conference and present the paper.
