The Department of Computing Science at the Eindhoven Univ. of Technology
is seeking post-doc candidates for a research position in the MAGNUM project,
a multimedia database technology project which is performed jointly with
the University of Twente, the University of Amsterdam and the
"Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica (CWI)" in Amsterdam.
The MAGNUM project is supported by the Dutch National Science Fund (NWO/SION),
and concentrates on database technology for multimedia databases such as
geographic information systems.
The researcher will investigate user-interface principles (user-interface
design, query generation, etc.) for geographic information systems.
This research is supervised by prof. dr. P. De Bra and prof. dr. J. Paredaens.
As this is a post-doc position, applicants should hold a phd
(doctorate or equivalent degree) in computing science or a closely
related field.
