Dear Colleague,
ACM SIGMOBILE, the Special Interest Group on Mobility
of Systems, Users, Data and Computing requests nomination for the
following two annual awads. Please submit your nominations to
Professor I. Chlamtac (chlamtac@acm.org) chairman of the
SIGMOBILE by September 1. The nomination process is
summarized below and can be via email.

1) SIGMOBILE Distinguish Service Award
2) Award for Outstanding Contributions to Research on Mobility Of Systems,
Users, Data
and Computing
Given by ACM SIGMOBILE to recognize an individual who has made a significant
and lasting contribution to the research on mobile communications
and wireless networking.
The contribution can be a single event or a life-time
of achievement.

Nominations for either award should be submitted by September 30 to the
chair the ACM SIGMOBILE. Each nomination should consist of the following
items:

1. Name, address, phone number, and email address of the person making the
nomination
2. Name, address, phone number, and email address of the candidate for who
an award is recommended.
3. A statement (between 200 and 500 words long) as to why the candidate
deserves the particular award.
4. Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 supporting letters from individuals
and organizations who endorse the nomination.
Names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of the supporting
contacts must be included.
The nominations will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the ACM SIGMOBILE
Chair. The awards will be presented at one of ACM SIGMOBILE's conferences
during the ensuing year.
