RICE UNIVERSITY -- The Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at Rice University announces an
opening for a non-tenure track, full-time, 9-month Lecturer position.
This is a one-year position, starting with the 1997-8 academic year,
with the strong possibility of renewal for up to three years,
depending on performance and availability of funds.
Duties consist of teaching a variety of courses in computer science,
in particular courses on the subject of algorithms and data
structures, as well as interacting with students outside the
classroom.

Qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science or an MS in Computer
Science and substantial teaching experience. Demonstrated commitment
to teaching is essential. For information about the department,
