We're interested in databases in general; in particular,
multimedia/information retrieval, distributed/heterogeneous & parallel
DBs, transaction/workflow models, CASE/CIM/GIS applications, and
active DBs.

You are invited to apply for tenure-track or visiting faculty
positions in all areas of computer science and engineering. Applicants
with expertise in one or more of the following areas will be given
preference - operating systems, database systems, networks, parallel
and distributed systems, and architecture. Rank is dependent upon
qualifications and experience with preference being given to junior
level applicants. An earned doctorate and a commitment to teaching
and scholarly research are required. Openings are anticipated for
September, 1997. Screening of applications will begin on January 15,
1997 but applications will be accepted until all positions are
filled. Applications are also invited for senior lecturer
positions. Applicants for these positions must hold a master's degree
plus have considerable industrial experience. Interested persons
