3rd International Workshop on Multimedia Information Systems

The 3rd International Workshop on Multimedia Information Systems
follows upon the success of the first and second workshops in
this series that was held in Arlington, VA, and West Point, NY,
respectively.

We plan to have a small focused workshop, consisting of participants drawn
from a wide variety of disciplines (e.g. theory, algorithms, real-time systems,
networks, operating systems, graphics and visualization, databases, artificial
intelligence, etc.), all of whom are engaged in research and development on one
or more aspects of multimedia systems.

We invite short papers (max.5 pages, double spaced, 12 point font) on
all aspects of multimedia information systems. The position papers will be
collected in a proceeding volume and distributed at the Workshop
