Full-time tenure-track academic position at the IAG Management School
Area; Information Systems
Duties
The new faculty member will teach graduate and undergraduate courses
and seminars, existing or to be created, on information systems.
The main theme is information system design, with a focus on,
e.g., decision support with the help of software tools or application
development methods. Teaching may also include programming languages
and their practice.
Research activities should develop in similar areas. Emphasis will be
put on methods for information system design and their application
in real management situations. The new faculty member will advise
undergraduate and doctoral students. He/she is expected to submit
research proposals to funding agencies and business institutions
Qualifications
- Doctorate in an area relevant to both information systems and management.
- Research experience on relevant topics.
- Ability to organize and supervise a research team.
- Practical experience in designing and implementing information systems.
- Proficiency in the French language, both spoken and written.
- Preference will be given to candidates with research experience abroad
and/or with teaching experience
Start date: September 1, 1997

A certified copy of diplomas should be included, as well as a resume,
a list of publications with the abstract of the five most significant ones,
and the name and address of four internationally recognized experts,
not at the UCL, for reference.
